In 2023, our construction manager Jörg Liebmann took care of the maintenance and repair of the mixed bed from building materials manufacturer Rohrdorfer for three years in a row.

The mission of the Rohrdorf-based company is to produce high-quality and contemporary building materials for its customers. In order to guarantee this, they attach particular importance to intensive quality monitoring of their efficient and environmentally optimized plant technologies. The challenge is great, because the production of cement in particular produces an enormous amount of abrasion. With a mixing bed throughput of 1.3 million tons per year, wear is a significant problem for building materials manufacturers.

But this is exactly where Jörg Liebmann, one of our long-standing supervisors, comes in. With a team of 15 fitters and the organizational support of Clara Buchmann, Head of Personnel at Liemont, they worked successfully on the renovation of the bucket elevator including the drive drum and the repair of various screws and screw conveyors.

Thanks to the annual audit, Liemont supports Rohrdorfer not only in combating wear and tear, but also in its corporate values, namely: durability, quality and efficiency.
